Design
  • Aesthetic integration with all kinds of street furniture.
  • Hinged cover provides access to driver tray.
Light source
  • Uses latest-generation, high-performance, high-efficiency LEDs in a universal modular solution for inclusion in our luminaires. It's this universal principle that enables Carandini to offer a solution that combines optical output, uniformity and energy efficiency.
Thermal control
  • Heat dissipation via the 3 principles of heat transfer: conduction, convection and radiation, thanks to modular configuration (separation of heat sources by chevrons) and luminaire design.
  • Cooling fins in gear compartment prevent overheating.
Light control
  • Programmable control gear with step adjustment in luminaire head, DALI protocol and 1-10 V permits more efficient light control, minimizing consumption and maximizing output.
  • Light control is a key factor in the energy efficiency of the luminaire.

Technical characteristics
Materials: Body, Cover and Chevrons the Pressure die-cast LM6 aluminium (EN AC-44100 AISI12) with low copper content (<0.1).

Chevrons: Connected to main housing via watertight plug-in connectors (IP68) and silicone cable grommets.

Maintenance: 
  • Access to gear via the lower part of the fixture, requiring just one screw to be removed.
  • Gear cover designed for guaranteed grip with no need for additional fasteners.
  • Connection to luminaire via quick connector with cable seal. Earth connection secured to housing.

GORE® pressure compensation: 
  • Ventilation system for equalizing pressure changes caused by temperature differences between the interior and exterior of the luminaire.
  • Dispels condensation and stress caused by changes in temperature. Extends product life.
Tilt adjustment: 
  • .PT1, .PT2, .PT3 => 0° and 5° tilt 
  • .SE1, .SE2, .SE3 => -2.5°, 0° and +2.5° tilt 
Finish: 
  • Polyester powder paint metallic silver RAL 9006 smooth gloss.

LED characteristics
Light source: 
  • Luminaire designed for LED technology, flow range between 2000 lm and 30,000 lm, colour temperature 3000 K (warm white) or 4000 K. (neutral white) an amber. Operating current (350-1000) mA.
  • For other colour temperatures, please enquire.
LED technology: 
  • Can hold up to 8 chevrons, each comprising 4 x 4 arrays of high-performance, high-efficiency LEDs (between 16 and 128 LEDs), waterproof to IP66.
  • The versions LR14, LR24 and LR34 incorporate a single chévron each with 8 Leds. These versions are designed for light packages from 1000 lm to 2,000 lm.
  • All LED modules have been endurance-tested for reliability, eliminating the possibility of premature LED failure.
  • Colour rendering index Ra 70 at 4000 K, Ra 80 at 3000 K and Ra 40 at amber.
Optics: Acrylic lens specially designed for PMMA LEDs (2 x 2) - Plexiglass bonded to PMMA VM100 overmould to form a single component.
