September 2009 Sales Convention
Coinciding with the beginning of the 2009 - 2010 financial year, our annual sales convention took place on the 27th, 28th and 29th of September. As always, during the event there was time for both work and fun.
Things got off to a start with a quick review of the results from the previous financial year, then the focus switched to the guidelines and strategies needed to achieve the objectives for the new financial year.
In particular, the discussion took in new products and the incorporation of new technologies in lighting products such as state-of-the-art lamps, LEDs, electronic equipment and telemanagement in the existing technologies, all with the aim of offering solutions of greater value to the market. We made a visit to the new Martorelles plant, where it was possible to observe the structural and organisational improvements which have been implemented in order to improve the service for our clients.
Since we were located not far from the Formula 1 "Circuit de Catalunya", we took advantage by enjoying a guided tour of these magnificent facilities, while there was also a Buggies race during which the whole sales team demonstrated their skills in driving these little sports cars.
Finally, after our General Manager thanked those in attendance, paid tribute to the enjoyable atmosphere which prevailed during the event, and wished everyone the best of success, the closing meal was a Finger Buffet served in the Hotel gardens.
